In one of my regular nights of sleeplessness I decided to peruse one of most favorite websites, The Oatmeal, by Seattle comic Matthew Inman. It was about 3am and I was supposed to laugh myself to sleep through one of his hilariously simple comics, yet somehow I got so intrigued that I had to stay up researching this mystical animal until 6am. This entire post was taken from his site, which you should totally check out and get addicted to just like me.

Portland’s Fashion Free TV Teaser!

I’m working on a Portland fashion/designer/artist video series with a bunch of uber talented Portland fashion people including designer and wardrobe stylist Eliza Harrison of Hello Eliza, makeup artist Christopher Guild and model/host Genesy Rogers. The music is an remix I made of Portland witch step group Bruxa’s Quebrar Cabeca. I finished this teaser for Fashion Free TV about a month ago and we’re set to start filming the episodes very soon so stay tuned!!

New Experimental Videos!!: Found Footage and Timelapse

Just finished up 2 experimental videos. The first is “Plants: 27 Seconds of Awesomeness” and was my first time trying out my new Vello Wireless Shutterboss. I tested it out on my wonderful and talented boyfriend’s organic plants growing in the kitchen and am very pleased with the results..

The second is a video for Special Request’s “Ride” track which I am so very much in love with right now. I’ve always wanted to make a found footage video and finally had the opportunity to dive deep into the Internet Archive where I found this incredible old TV show. It’s really meant to be the type of video that you’d play on a projector while you DJ this song. Stay tuned for my next DJ gig post…

Came across this new video for fashion house Kenzo and absolutely fell in love. I would very much like to move into this wonderland ASAP.

On top of this incredible piece of video art, M.I.A. made a special mix for Kenzo, the Matangi Mixtape. It’s a preview of her new album that is supposedly going to drop this spring/summer. So freakin good I can’t wait to lose myself in it’s tropical lushness.
